Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of TestMutant, including testmutant.com, the TestMutant application, APIs, integrations, reports, and related services. By using TestMutant, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for users you invite to an organization. You must notify us promptly if you believe an account, API key, or integration token has been compromised.

Organizations and permissions

Organization owners and administrators control projects, integrations, members, billing, and access levels. You represent that you have authority to create or manage an organization and to connect any third-party service or external account used with TestMutant.

Acceptable use

You may not use TestMutant to:

• Access systems, accounts, repositories, or data without authorization.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt, scan, overload, or bypass the service.
• Violate laws, third-party rights, or third-party service terms.
• Reverse engineer the service except where the law prohibits this restriction.
• Share API keys, credentials, or access tokens outside authorized users and systems.

Customer content

You retain ownership of content you submit to or create through TestMutant. You grant TestMutant a limited right to host, process, transmit, display, and use customer content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

Service output

TestMutant may produce reports, recommendations, generated content, or other output based on customer content and connected services. You are responsible for reviewing service output before relying on it in a production workflow. Service output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require human review.

Third-party services

TestMutant may integrate with third-party services you authorize. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of data. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

Billing and subscriptions

Paid features may require a subscription or usage-based charges. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge applicable fees, taxes, and renewals using the payment method provided. Subscriptions renew until canceled unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Trials, limits, and changes

We may offer free trials, preview features, plan limits, quotas, or beta functionality. We may modify or discontinue features, adjust limits, or suspend abusive usage to protect the service and other customers.

Intellectual property

TestMutant and its software, design, documentation, branding, and service technology are owned by TestMutant or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership in the service. Feedback you provide may be used without restriction or obligation to you.

Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect confidential information and will use it only as needed to perform under these terms, unless disclosure is required by law.

Disclaimers

TestMutant is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TestMutant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amounts paid to TestMutant for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using TestMutant at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other customers, fail to pay amounts due, or if required by law. After termination, some data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of TestMutant after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
